Ambient Sound Investments financed Oskando acquires 20% in Eurosat Group

O skando, a leading Baltic telematics company, acquired 20% in GPS solutions provider Eurosat Group. Ambient Sound Investments became majority shareholder of Oskando.

EuroSat group, established in 2003 specializes in the development and sale of GPS based positioning equipment, related systems and software. The main products of Eurosat Group are an internet based vehicle positioning system Track24 and a monitoring solution for special machinery, Inspect.

The company employs 13 people.

Oskando (www.oskando.ee)
Established as a development company in 1995, Oskando OÜ is involved in the development, production and sales of GSM and GPS-based equipment for motor vehicles and small boats. Ambient Sounds Investments became the majority shareholder of Oskando in spring 2006.

Ambient Sound Investments is an investment company of four Estonian co-founders of Skype, using its assets to fund budding international technology enterprises. ASI is mostly focusing on Eastern Europe and Russia, searching companies that are developing new technologies or based thereon to be added to its investment portfolio.
