Cycleenergy (www.cycleenergy.at)
Bio-energy group Cycleenergy focuses on renewable energy solutions for the decentralized, rural communities of Central and Eastern Europe. Building and operating biomass and biogas plants that use the combined heat and power method, Cycleenergy has a capacity of 150 MW. The company is in construction of an additional 5.5 MW plant in northern Austria that uses woodchip fired biomass as a power source. Adaptation is an important element to Cycleenergy’s success, as it can alter the fuel that it uses to whatever available waster products are in the region or surrounding areas.
The company plans to invest an additional EUR 100 million for further construction and acquisition over the next few years.
