Global Finance closes South Eastern Europe Fund

G lobal Finance has held the final closing of its eighth fund, the South Eastern Europe Fund (“SEEF”).

The South Eastern Europe Fund successfully reached its hard cap of € 350 million. SEEF will primarily consider control investments and regional expansion opportunities. The funds were committed by a group of top-tier Greek and international institutional and private investors, including existing Global Finance investors as well as new ones.

Since its establishment in 2006, SEEF has completed three investments in the Region:

  • ICAP, the largest Business Information and Consulting firm in Greece
  • Andromeda, a leading player in the Greek fish-farming business and
  • Biofarma, a large generic pharmaceutical producer in Turkey
