Krokus Private Equity has acquired a 70% stake in the Polish technology transportation system manufacturer, Transsystem.

Established in 1991, Transsystem is one of the leaders in Poland and Europe providing technological transportation systems for manufacturing facilities. The Company specializes in the planning, design, manufacture and assembly of steel structure conveyor systems and components.
Customers include Daimler Chrysler, Jaguar, Volvo, BMW, Audi, Toyota and PSA. In 2006, the Company had sales of € 40 million.

Nova Polonia Natexis II, the Krokus PE fund, has acquired almost 70% of the shares in Transsystem. The investment entailed the purchase of 45.24% of the existing shares from Fredenhangen Industrieanlagen GmbH, combined with a capital increase.
