Uniteddogs.com and Unitedcats.com receive additional financing of USD 235,000

Ambient Sound Investments financed in a financing round Uniteddogs.com and Unitedcats.com with an additional USD 235,000. As a result of the agreement between Ambient Sound Investments and United Dogs & Cats, the investment group acquired 18% of the Internet start-up.

United Dogs and Cats ltd. is an Estonian Internet start-up, the founder and developer of the new type of social networking websites Uniteddogs.com and Unitedcats.com. UDC is creating a network of localized websites for all lovers of dogs and cats. Currently the websites have 40,000 registered users and are visited 600,000 times per month. The websites are available in 12 languages.

The websites allow users to make a free homepage for the pet, upload and comment photos and videos, keep pet blogs, engage and share stories. It also offers new features like the Facebook application, exchanging virtual gifts and a search option for other pet owners in the same geographical area with the help of Google Maps to meet each other.

Ambient Sound Investments also provided the first seed financing to the company in October 2007 and participated in perfecting the service.
