Polish investment fund Enterprise Investors, which owns construction materials producer Macon Deva, recently bought Simcor Oradea in a transaction worth € 53 million.

Macon Deva is one of the main construction materials producers in Romania, with a strong market position in Transylvania. In 2006 Enterprise Investors acquired through PEF VI investment fund a 100% stake in the company. Macon’s business objectives include product growth and countrywide expansion.
Macon will take over Simcor Grup s.r.l. which includes Simpromat s.r.l., Simcor Management S.A., Simcor S.A. Simterac S.A., Simbeton S.A., Simcor Var S.A. and Simsped S.A., controlled by German businessman Stache Lutz and his associate Mihail Voiculescu.
Simcor Grup manufactures building materials. The Company offers breeze blocks, stove tiles, paving supplies, concrete prefabs, roof tiles, tubes, poles, fences, vases, aerated concrete, and lime products.
