iEurope Capital divests Vatera.hu

iEurope Capital sold Vatera.hu to MIH Internet Europe, a subsidiary of Naspers Limited.

Vatera.hu was established in the year 2000 and as a full-service auction platform operator the Company offers sales solutions for Internet trading by private individuals and companies, closed auctions for dealers, as well as IT and vehicle park liquidations for enterprises. In addition, vatera.hu offers services and infrastructure solutions (e.g. Internet shops) for retailers.

Voted Hungary’s e-Commerce Company of the Year in both 2006 and 2007, Vatera.hu was also recognized by Red Herring magazine as one of the top 100 technology companies in the EMEA region in 2007 and 2008.
