The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will make a EUR 40 million investment into 3TS CEE Fund III. The regional private equity fund has a target size of EUR 200 million, however, the EBRD will not exceed 20 percent of total aggregate commitments. The fund will maintain the environmental and business standards of the EBRD.
3TS CEE Fund III
3TS CEE Fund III is managed by 3TS Capital Partners. The Fund is designed to seek equity investments into small-to-medium-sized companies operating within the region of Central and South-Eastern Europe.
The main focus will be telecommunications, technology, media, industrials and renewable energy.
The fund is follow-up to a EUR 130 million 3TS CEE Fund II, launched in 2005 under the supervision of 3i Group Plc. 3TS CEE Fund III will be a Jersey limited partnership.
