Penta Unhappy with Mobilking’s Growth

Penta reports that they suspect that Mobilking reached that goal at the end of January and established a new target of a half million by end of 2009.

Mobilking was established in Poland in early 2008 by Mobile Entertainment Company and became the largest MVNO in the country within one quarter with 45,000 customers. The company established a nationwide distribution of 25,000 point-of-sale locations by late 2008 including supermarkets, convenience stores, newsstands and mobile phone retailers.

Mobilking focuses on the target audience of men within Poland and uses T-Mobile International as its host within the country.
