Citing the growing Internet market in Romania, 3TS Capital Partners has announced an investment in Romanian online publisher InternetCorp. The deal, which gives 3TS a minority stake for an undisclosed amount, is to be transacted via the 3TS Cisco Growth Fund, a 3TS fund dedicated to communications, media, and technology opportunities.
With a strong track record of success and experience in the CEE internet market, 3TS is confident its involvement with InternetCorp can help the company’s future growth in both Romania and Central and Eastern Europe.
InternetCorp is a Romanian online publishing company established in 2004 with a focus on business news, women’s health and lifestyle, and general news. It is one of Romania’s leading online publishers in terms of viewership and advertising market share. 2008 revenues for the company were reported to be in excess of €1.8 million.
Some of the company’s more well-known online properties include 9AM.ro, CorporateNews.ro, Envy.ro, Healthy.ro, Kidz.ro, and Wall-Street.ro. The Bucharest-based company currently employs approximately 60 people.
