Russian fleet management specialist Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) has wrapped up a fairly successful IPO carried on the MICEX Exchange. Listed on the Innovation and Growth Companies sector, the company managed to sell 3,520,000 newly issued shares at a price of RUR 85.23 each, for a total of RUR 300 million.
VTB Capital invested significantly in the company in 2008, meaning they now own a 30.7% stake with the completion of the IPO.
AutoTracker
AutoTracker is a fleet management system developed by Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) beginning in 2005. RNT uses the system to monitor and manage large fleets through the installation of on-board GPS/GLONASS systems. The telematics systems allow individual vehicles to be tracked for fuel use, route efficiency, mechanical problems, cargo conditions, and much more.
RNT analyzes the data and presents fleet owners with methods to get the most out of their vehicles and other mobile equipment. RNT earned RUR 36 million on sales of RUR 210 million in 2009.
