The EBRD recently announced its financial support for Moldova’s first private hospital being constructed and equipped to meet international standards. American and Turkish-owned Health Forever International (HFI), the company building the hospital, has successfully completed similar projects in Turkey.
The €7.75 million loan from the EBRD will help HFI build the six-floor facility in Moldova’s capital city of Chisinau. The facility will cover an area of 12,300 m², have a capacity of 75 beds, and will provide standard hospital treatment and diagnostic services to both referred patients and walk-ins. The Medpark facility is expected to raise the quality of healthcare services in all of Moldova by introducing new technology and more efficient operational systems.
