Global private equity firm Advent International has chosen Kiev-based ISIDA as the target of its first Ukrainian investment, acquiring a controlling stake in the company just two months after reaching a GBP 925 million deal for the UK’s Priory Group. The acquisition is a continuation of Advent’s 26-year history of healthcare investing.
ISIDA will now have the private equity funding to expand its medical treatment services beyond the immediate Kiev market, building new facilities and potentially hiring hundreds of new staff members, as Ukraine’s emerging healthcare sector and overall economy continue to grow.
