Nexus PE Acquires Controlling Stakes in Trigger and Hitra

Nexus Private Equity Partners has moved to help consolidate the Croatian document handling sector through the acquisition of controlling stakes in two local companies. Nexus has paid a total of € 3.5 million to acquire 51% stakes in both Hitra Produkcija Dokumenata and Trigger. The deal, which was brokered by Ascendant Capital Advisors, will allow both companies to expand and the unify their services.

Hitra is a document handling company which provides clients services in design, printing, preparation, and distribution of a variety of business documents. The company specializes in invoices, statements, and personalized letters, using innovative technology and state-of-the-art equipment to handle everything from the small, simple run to the largest and most complex project.

Hitra is the only Croatian company compliant with ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards for document security. They are based in Zagreb, Croatia.

Established in 2003, Trigger is a business services company specializing in mass document handling and IT services. In 2005 the company created Hitra produkcija dokumenata, a new enterprise designed to handle all of the document production services so that Trigger could concentrate on IT.

Trigger is the market leader in Croatia in terms of sales and maintenance of document production equipment, and is a certified Xerox Business Partner. Combined with Hitra, the two control about 70% of the Croatian market for mass document production and its related services.
