Access Industries has recently posted nearly all of the $9.5 million raised by GetTaxi in a recent round of funding. It is believed that the founder of Get Taxi, Shahar Smirin accounted for the remainder of the funding.

Get Taxi was originally founded in 2010, operating in Tel-Aviv, Israel as a taxi reservation service. Smirin announced that Get Taxi is expanding to Moscow, Paris and London in the next few months. Get Taxi is a service where you can order a taxi from your mobile phone or through their website. Service users can rank service and gain points for free service by participating on the site.
