Giza Polish Ventures First Polish-Israeli VC Fund

Giza Polish Ventures, the investment world’s first Polish-Israeli VC fund, has been set up in Warsaw to invest in early stage technology companies. With PLN 84 mln earmarked as capitalization funds, an agreement is already in place with a subsidiary of BGK State Bank, KFK (National Capital Fund), which will subsidize PLN 42 mln. The fund will invest, and then execute its exit strategy from portfolio companies within an upper limit of 5 years. The parent company, Giza Venture Capital, has been operating since 1992 and currently invests approximately USD 600 mln across 97 portfolio companies specializing in IT, medical sciences, communications, and programming services.
