While the former facilitates content to be streamed live on the internet, the latter offers its clients the option to broadcast video content over the internet and monetize it.

Yatv.ru is a Russian portal that boasts of being the Russian equivalent of Livestream.com. Held by Dulton Media, the unit offers B2B and B2C solutions for online video streaming. Eagle.platform is another offering from Dulton Media that allows Russian video content to be broadcast and monetized online; it is similar to the service provided by Brightcove.

Prostor Capital is a Russian PE fund formed in 2011 with the objective of providing financial and business aid to companies that have taken the first step towards gaining the confidence of their target market. The company focuses on the early and growth stages of a portfolio company’s life cycle; typical companies in its portfolio are internet-based technology companies, software solutions firms and mobile technology development companies, and Prostor tends to hone in on niche players in the IT industry in Russia. It seeks to invest between USD 1 and 2 mln for an equity share of between 25 and 49 percent in one round of investment.
