New Turkish PE fund TRPE Capital has been spun off from Rhea Asset Management in a bid to invest into Turkey’s key markets. The primary focus is to be on technology, business services and healthcare. Though the company will continue to service its existing portfolio of companies acquired while with Rhea, the investment focus will be mainly in Turkey.

TRPE Capital is a PE fund with a Turkey-centric investment focus. Recently spun off from its mothership, Rhea Asset Management, TRPE is active in the SME domain. Typical portfolio companies are high-growth SME’s within their target sectors (technology, healthcare and business services). Part of their investment strategy is to put money into companies showing at least 20 percent growth year-on-year, and generating less than EUR 50 mln per annum. Typical examples of their portfolio companies are Netas, Turkey’s leading technology provider to telecom companies and Seta Medical Devices, a producer of disposable medical products.
