Former Startup Yard Qualifier Proactify Raises More Funding

One of the Alumni of the Czech Startup Yard, Proactify  , a company offering sales techniques as a service to online retailers, has attracted another round of seed funding, this time from oddly named funds Absurd Capital and Rockaway Enterprises. With its offering still under testing, the company is already collaborating with an online furniture store, presumably to test its product and make final tweaks before its release.

Proactify is a Czech company founded and headed by Jiri Kopsa that specializes in providing online sales insights to its potential clients in the B2B segment. The company is an alumnus of the Startup Yard accelerator fund. The key product offering by the company is a way for e-commerce sites to customize and tailor their products and services to individual customers using a recommendation system. The company is already in collaboration with Höffner of Germany, and online furniture store.

Proactify is likely to face stiff competition from the rapidly growing Gravity R&D. Founded in 2007, Hungary-based Gravity offers an award-winning recommendation system with a proven 8-12 percent sales increase for their customers. Gravity is currently owned by Docler Holding and is already present in 12 countries across Europe, including key e-commerce markets like the UK, Germany and France.
