Ambient Sound Investment (ASI), early stage VC fund backed by the engineers who founded Skype, now have company in their investment into Frenzoo, a gaming development company that is on the verge of releasing 3D fashion and lifestyle mobile games specifically targeting women. New investors in this USD 1 mln round of financing include Metaverse Services, a Chinese market leader in gaming, K5 Ventures that operates across Europe in the communications and media segments, Siemer Ventures from Los Angeles, a cross-border investment house with an office in Asia and Hong Kong’s angel investor Tytus Michalski’s investment vehicle, Efficient Corporate. Additions to the board of directors is also being made, with new joiners including Doug Glen, former Chief Strategy Officer at Mattel and Jasmine Webster, who founded the popular DressMe blog. The funds from this seed round of investment will be used to speed up the official launch of the Me Girl free 3D games that cater to women of all age groups in the fashion and lifestyle segment.
