Innovation Nest On Investment Spree, UXPin.com Newest Portfolio Target

Innovation Nest, founded in October 2011, is continuing its investment spree with a EUR 161,000 funding of Polish developer of prototyping tools and wireframing applications for UX designers, UXPin.com. The target company was earlier the winner of the Eastern European start-up award, Aulery. Innovation Nest’s recent investments include PressPad, a publishing tool for iPad devices, and iTraff Technology, mobile app developer that created SaveUp!, an image recognition application that finds the best online prices for a particular product.

UXPin is a Polish software company that develops UX tools such as wireframing applications and prototyping utilities. Founded in 2010 by five experienced software professionals, some of whom are still colleagues and hold key positions at one of Eatern Europe’s most prominent e-commerce portals. Led by Marcin Treder, CEO, UXPin has developed web and mobile kits for UX designers that make it simple to photograph a sketch for an application and immediately render it as a digital wireframe.
